“ The Doctor’s Prison Cell “

Dir. by Nikola Knez

A little dog visits the big city in search of his sister.

The Doctor's Prison Cell is a feature length documentary about international human rights abuses that occurred in the Croatian War for Independence (1991-1996). The city of Vukovar was surrounded by approximately 80,000 Serbian soldiers, 1,600 tanks and armored personnel carriers, 980 artillery weapons, 350 anti-aircraft guns with 750 rocket launchers. The defense of the city was mounted by approximately 1,850 lightly armed Croatian volunteers. The hospital became a haven for the sick, the wounded, and the living, all of whom saw it as the last ray of hope in the constantly bombarded city, where more than 1,500 shells hit each day.

Damian is a 26 year old that wakes up one morning all beaten up, bound, hooded and alone in an unfamiliar place. He doesn’t know how he got there, or why. He doesn’t even remember his name. Dir. by Diego Londono

“ Life “

Dir. by Dylan Perlot

This is a short comedy about a Mexican-American woman who lives with her Mexican Abuela. She is soon to turn thirty, and believes that there is something wrong with her because she hasn’t found a man she can relate to, and her job doesn’t fulfil her. In her frustration, she decides to accept her Abuela’s crazy scheme, and go back to her roots and traditions to “make things right”... but things go horribly wrong.

Life is a short student experimental/fashion film. We meet 4 people: a woman swimming, a man admiring the beautiful mountains, another woman enjoying the nature, and a second man making a fire. They are all far away from each other, but to be fully happy and to find love they need to be together.
